Company History
Founded in 2002 by Maren Vargel's parents, the company has focussed on natural promotional products from the outset - and its expertise is correspondingly extensive. The original reason for founding the company was to continue the 'werben+wachsen' promotional products division of Multi GmbH.
This proved to be a flourishing business idea, as evidenced by various relocations and expansions over the past 24 years. 
Today, Maren Vargel, née Bischoff, runs the company together with her father Eduard Bischoff. Permanent employees and freelancers complete the competent team.

2002    Founding of Multiflower GmbH as a start-up with two other partners
2002    In the same year, the company moves its headquarters to Wiesenbach and appoints Eduard Bischoff as sole managing director
2003    Relocation of the company headquarters to Industriestrasse 90 in Bammental
2006    Relocation of the company headquarters to Industriestrasse 88 in Bammental

Our Philosophy

Our responsibility for the environment and our social commitment 
Responsible use of resources and social commitment are integral parts of our company philosophy. 
We carefully select the materials used in our products and evaluate where recycled content, renewable raw materials or reusable packaging can be used.
Many of our promotional products contain seeds, herbs or plants and combine advertising messages with a unique product experience. Many containers can be reused after their original purpose.

More than 90% of our product components are manufactured in Germany or other European Union countries. This means that production takes place in accordance with the legal requirements on labour, health and environmental protection applicable in those countries.
Our shipping partner DPD, part of the Geopost Group, aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. Further information is available on DPD's corporate website.
Many of our products use recyclable or compostable materials.

Since 2010, Multiflower has been certified for organic products. We therefore offer products with organic seeds, herbs, spices and teas, labelled in accordance with the applicable EU organic farming regulations. 
We also pay close attention to the conscious use of materials and packaging in our own operations. Wherever possible, we avoid plastic packaging and mainly use renewable or recycled materials for transport packaging.

Another important part of our philosophy is our long-standing cooperation with workshops for people with intellectual, physical or mental disabilities. By outsourcing assembly work to these organisations, we actively support their valuable work.

A large proportion of our products is assembled at our company site, helping to avoid unnecessary transport between production stages.

Our Quality 
Our quality control is an important process at Multiflower to ensure that our products meet the specified standards. It includes checking materials, production processes and end products to ensure that they not only meet our own requirements and expectations, but also those of our customers. This also includes regular growth trials with different seed varieties from different batches.
For us, effective quality control means recognising and rectifying any defects at an early stage. This strengthens customer satisfaction and trust in our company. We therefore endeavour to continuously improve our quality measures.
